Following the announcement of Fintech Moldova’s partnership with Fintech Fringe Festival 2025, Founder and Coordinator Stefan Nistor represented Moldova’s fintech ecosystem at the two-day event held on 20–21 October in London.
The festival brought together nearly 900 founders, investors, financial institutions, technology providers, and policymakers, alongside more than 160 speakers, all focused on one common objective: helping fintech companies scale through practical insights, meaningful partnerships, and real business opportunities.
Unlike traditional industry conferences, Fintech Fringe has built its reputation around actionable content and collaboration. Its programming centered on the challenges fintech companies face as they grow—from fundraising and regulatory expansion to AI adoption, payments innovation, embedded finance, and partnerships with banks and enterprises.
As an official ecosystem partner, Fintech Moldova used the event to strengthen relationships with international fintech communities, engage with founders and industry leaders, and promote Moldova as an emerging destination for financial innovation. Stefan Nistor participated in meetings with ecosystem builders, investors, and technology companies, highlighting the country’s rapid progress in areas such as instant payments, Open Banking, digital public infrastructure, and regulatory modernization.
Participation at Fintech Fringe reflects Fintech Moldova’s broader mission of connecting the local ecosystem with leading international markets. Building these relationships is essential for creating new opportunities for Moldovan startups, attracting investment, facilitating knowledge exchange, and encouraging cross-border collaboration.
The partnership with Fintech Fringe also reinforces a long-term strategy of increasing Moldova’s visibility within the European fintech landscape. By participating in major international events, Fintech Moldova continues to position the country not only as an emerging market, but as a valuable partner for innovation across Central and Eastern Europe.
As Moldova’s fintech ecosystem continues to mature, international engagement will remain a key priority. Events such as Fintech Fringe provide a platform where ideas become partnerships, conversations become opportunities, and local innovation gains global visibility.
Fintech Moldova will continue working alongside international partners to ensure that Moldovan fintech companies have greater access to global networks, expertise, and markets—helping accelerate the country’s journey toward becoming a regional hub for financial technology and digital innovation.
