Fintech Moldova is pleased to announce its partnership with the inaugural Silk Road Finance & Technology Forum, taking place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from 24–27 August 2026. As a Community Partner, Fintech Moldova is proud to support one of Central Asia’s most significant new platforms dedicated to advancing financial innovation, technology, and international collaboration.
Co-organised by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), and co-hosted by Ant International, the forum is being held in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Agency of Perspective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event reflects Uzbekistan’s growing ambition to establish itself as a regional hub for fintech, digital finance, and cross-border innovation.
Over four days, the forum will convene central bank governors, regulators, policymakers, financial institutions, fintech founders, investors, and technology leaders from across Central Asia and around the world. Participants will engage in discussions on the future of financial infrastructure, open banking, digital assets, cross-border payments, artificial intelligence, investment, and the policies needed to accelerate innovation while strengthening regional connectivity.
For Fintech Moldova, this partnership represents another important step in strengthening international cooperation and creating new opportunities for the Moldovan fintech ecosystem. As our community continues to build bridges between emerging and established markets, participation in global initiatives such as the Silk Road Finance & Technology Forum enables knowledge exchange, strategic partnerships, and greater visibility for innovation taking place in Moldova.
“We believe that the future of financial innovation depends on stronger international collaboration. Joining the Silk Road Finance & Technology Forum as a Community Partner reinforces our commitment to connecting Moldova’s fintech ecosystem with leading global initiatives and fostering dialogue that transcends borders.”
We look forward to supporting the forum and meeting partners, innovators, and industry leaders in Tashkent this August.
